The Duchess packed up her personal belongings as she and Prince Harry departed Frogmore Cottage, returning the keys a year ago. This cottage, initially gifted to them in 2019 by the late Queen Elizabeth, served as their first residence within the royal family. It was a year after their departure that the Sussexes finally returned the keys to the cottage. In Harry’s memoir “Spare,” he controversially claimed that they were “evicted” from Frogmore Cottage following their decision to step away from royal duties, asserting that Charles had asked them to vacate.
