Ben Affleck has finally addressed why he tends to have a ‘resting b***h face’ in photos while also opening up about ‘Sad Affleck’ memes.

The Oscar winner, 51 – who recently made rare comments about wife Jennifer Lopez as he says her fame is ‘bananas’ – discussed the topic during the latest episode of Kevin Hart‘s talk show, Hart To Heart.

At one point during the interview – which took place before divorce rumors began to circulate around Ben and Jennifer – the star explained, ‘I’m also a little bit shy. I also don’t like a lot of attention.’

‘That’s why people see me and they’re like, “Why’s this dude always mad?” Because somebody has their camera and sticks it in my face and I’m like, “Okay, here we go.”‘

However, Affleck expressed that he becomes more bothered when it comes to his own children being photographed.

‘Actually, what I’d like to do is much more definitive than just look at you like this,’ Ben said.

‘I don’t mind, you can take my picture at a club or a premiere, with my wife [Jennifer Lopez], I don’t give a f***. Knock yourself out. I don’t notice you. But with my children, that’s a different thing.’

He also explained that sometimes his face naturally doesn’t look happy and added, ‘By the way, I also might be somebody who I do find myself – I’ll be sitting at home, and they’re like, “What’s wrong?”‘

‘I’m like, “Nothing. I’m listening to this thing.” I start thinking, is something wrong?’ Affleck continued.

The comedian then told the actor that there is possibly a cause to his ‘resting b***h face,’ to which Ben humorously replied with, ‘B***h?! Now, now, I have resting hard face.’

When it comes to public scrutiny of his facial expressions, the Good Will Hunting star added, ‘People are projecting something onto me that I don’t feel about myself at all.’

‘I think when I was young, people saw me as somebody who had too much or was successful too easily or looked like some kind of cavalier, insincere, callow frat guy.’

‘That was nothing like how I felt. I felt like this sort of insecure, anxious, overly verbal kid from Boston who had tried to break into this business and was dealing with his own stuff.’

Affleck continued, ‘But there is an interesting thing about how we come off versus who we are.’

‘We went somewhere with [Jennifer] – I can’t remember because she’s so famous, and she creates this – people love her, and she really represents something important to people,’ Affleck began.

‘[To me,] people are like, “Hey, I like your movie,” and then they’re like “AAAHHHH! J-LO!” he yelled. ‘It’s amazing, you know what I mean?’

Then he got more specific. ‘I think it was when we rolled through Times Square,’ he continued.

‘We get out of the car, we were going to a play, and I was like, “F*** it, babe, we’re going to be late, we gotta walk a block and a half.” [Lopez] was like, “Alright,” she didn’t say s***.’

They were with all their children – he has Violet, Seraphina and Samuel with Jennifer Garner and Lopez has Max and Emme with Marc Anthony.

‘We get out with her, all the kids, through Times Square, and the s*** was like f****n’ bananas,’ Affleck noted.

‘I was like, “Oh my God.” There was a lady, she was smoking weed, in a full purple skintight suit—she’s a heavy lady—and she starts running backwards filming, going “-LO!!”

He added, ‘Like a herald, that then gets everyone else, and then all the tourists come in.’ Affleck said the chaos was a lot to take in.

He does bring up why his daughter used the past tense. Ben then added: ‘And I was like, alright that’s a good title.’

This comes after a source told DailyMail.com that Lopez is over trying to fix her marriage to Affleck.

An industry insider has now claimed that the pop star has reached her wit’s end and no longer feels that she can do any ‘more’ to save the relationship.

‘Jenny has had enough and she really tried but she can do no more, it’s not getting any better, it’s worse,’ a music industry source told DailyMail.com.

The insider add that the main reason J.Lo left her husband was because he was always ‘grumpy and negative’ like Oscar The Grouch from Sesame Street.
