Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese appears to be frustrated with how the media have treated her.
The former LSU standout has been making headlines recently after her comments about Caitlin Clark went viral. Following their loss to the Indiana Fever on Sunday, during which the Sky forward accidentally hit Clark on the head and received a flagrant foul, Reese seemed to accuse her rival of getting a “special whistle” from the referees.
Interestingly, during the Sky’s Tuesday practice, Reese refused to answer in detail when reporters asked. Instead, the six-foot-three forward kept responding with short replies.
“I know how y’all like to twist my words, so I’m just keeping it short and sweet,” said Reese when inquired about the short replies.

Even though the reporters clarified that wasn’t their intention, Reese refused to believe them and instead highlighted her trust issues with them.
“I can’t trust any of y’all. So I’m just letting you know — short and sweet,” she added, via Chicago Sun-Times.
Considering how Angel Reese has been unfairly vilified because of her comments, it’s not surprising why she’s refusing to give any material for the media to use.
It remains to be seen if she will change her stance when it comes to her treatment of the media, but it will definitely be interesting to see how it develops as the season progresses.
