The Chicago Sky may have one of the best young duos in the league.

It’s still way too early to tell, but Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso look to form one of the most promising frontcourts in the WNBA.

Cardoso has played in just four games after suffering a shoulder injury that had her sidelined for the start of the season, but she’s continuing to improve as the year progresses.

After scoring 11 points in her rookie debut against the Indiana Fever, Cardoso would go on to have a combined three points in the next two games.

Angel Reese says WNBA hype is about more than Caitlin Clark: 'Because of me too'

She showed out against the Atlanta Dream on Saturday, though, and so did Reese.

Cardoso finished the game, scoring 13 points, while adding five rebounds.

Her partner, Reese, notched a double-double with 13 points, 13 rebounds and tied her career-high with five steals in the match

Reese spoke on the tandem after the game, revealing her true thoughts on the future of this Sky duo.

“She runs the floor really well. At 6’7, to be able to see a post-player run that we’ll…

She catches passes, she makes baskets around the basket really fluently…

Our duo is something that is going to be here for a while and here to stay and I’m excited for our growth,” said Reese via Chicago Sky PR.

It’s clear that Cardoso and Reese are going to give opposing teams problems for years to come.

They’re tied with each other since both were drafted in 2024, so the development of not just the individuals, but the duo will be interesting to watch.
