NBA – Former superstar takes a hard cut on Bronny James: “I think he…

Bronny James
LandonWhile waiting to officially declare for the Draft, Bronny James continues his university adventure. However, some doubts are expressed about his level and his potential in the NBA. A former superstar has also come to add his two cents to the debate.

It’s now been almost three months since Bronny James made his NCAA debut. But following his cardiac arrest last summer, the prospect is subject to a playing time restriction

After 21 matches played under the colors of the USC Trojans, he must still be content with the role of player of rotation. Despite these elements, each action of the young prodigy is scrutinized.

Monitored by NBA scouts, the 19-year-old guard will be eligible for the next draft. However, his recent performances raise questions. The criticisms against him are such that LeBron James was forced to intervene, but he too is singled out .

Former league superstar Stephon Marbury got involved in this matter recently during his appearance on the show Ball don’t Stop .

Is Bronny ready for the NBA? Stephon Marbury honest

Bronny is a professional. He plays 20 minutes per game, which is half of a college game. I think he needs to play more to make more mistakes and have the opportunity to show his abilities.

The fact that he has two years left in school is not a bad thing. Allen Iverson played two years in college… He has this ability to go to the basket, shoot and make good passes.

One of the most important things is his ability to block shots, which I think is high level. You shouldn’t trust the statistics with him. When I see him as an NBA player, he has all the qualities. He’s 1m93 tall, he’s powerful and he’s going to get stronger and better. His father is one of the greatest players of all time.

All the elements come together to make it successful. Once he figures out how to do it, I think he’ll do just fine.

Running 5 points at 37% shooting, 2.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 19.5 minutes on average coming off the bench, Bronny James is indeed experiencing some difficulty adapting to college basketball.

It is all the more complicated for him to keep up as he is still recovering from his recent health problems. Starbury’s advice for the nugget is therefore to complete an additional year in the NCAA.

But despite his ineffectiveness in shooting, the young nugget was able to show a few snippets of his talent and his potential with a few actions. And the former Knicks is far from the only one to have praised the USC Trojans player among retired All-Stars.

Expected at the next draft, will LeBron’s son have to wait to strengthen himself during one more year of higher education to join the league?

For his first months in the NCAA, all eyes are on Bronny James. The son of the Chosen One is announced for the next draft, but Stephen Marbury advises him to continue his progression for one more year before hoping to play in the NBA.

Not necessarily a bad solution in the long term.
