The Warriors icon is on his way back
Steph Curry has posted an update on his recovery from injury as the Golden State Warriors icon targets a comeback, but the game against the Dallas Mavericks will arrive too soon.
The Warriors lost their four-time NBA champion to a right ankle injury during the fourth quarter of the 125-122 loss at the hands of Chicago Bulls on Thursday at Chase Center.
While Curry’s MRI revealed no structural damage to the joint, the 35-year-old guard may be out for a little while longer. He will be re-evaluated by the team’s medical staff on Tuesday.

In the meantime, Curry has been trying to do whatever he can to speed up the process – posting an image of his foot dunked in freezing water, which will reduce swelling around his ankle.
“We working,” he wrote in the caption, with the photo clearly showing his foot in a bucket of ice water.
That will be news to the ears of Warriors fans, who will be desperate for Curry to return, although rookie Trayce Jackson-Davis pulled off an amazing dunk on Victor Wembanyama in the 112-102 victory over the San Antonio Spurs to prove his worth.
Following the Warriors’ gutsy victory over the Spurs on Monday at Frost Bank Center, Kerr addressed questions on Curry’s status, revealing that Golden State likely will continue without their leader for the three-game trip.
“Yeah, we needed that [win] and obviously we’ll reassess tomorrow, but I don’t expect him to play in Dallas,” Kerr said of Curry to reporters.
Soon … 😈

Warriors learn to do without Curry
It was the first time the Warriors won without Curry this season and Kerr mentioned that it is pleasing his side showed they can without their talisman in the side.
“We’ve got another tough game coming up and we’re in a fight right now in this stage of the season, so it’s good to get the win and build some confidence without Steph, too,” he added.
The Warriors currently sit 10th in the Western Conference behind the Los Angeles Lakers, who have struggled this season despite having LeBron James at their disposal. The two giants will face on Sunday, March 17, and Curry will be hoping to make it back in time for his clash with fellow NBA star James.
