Jake Paul has sent a gruesome warning to Mike Tyson ahead of their boxing mega-fight, which is set to take place on July 20 at the 80,000 seat AT&T Stadium in Texas

Jake Paul has cheekily told boxing legend Mike Tyson that he plans to “bite his ear off” in their upcoming mega-fight. The two are set to face off on July 20 at the massive AT&T Stadium in Texas, which can hold up to 80,000 fans.

Paul confessed that Tyson wasn’t his first pick for an opponent. He had hoped for a rematch with Tommy Fury, but claimed that the Love Island star asked for too much money. This will be Tyson’s first time back in the ring since his exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr. in November 2020.

Tyson is infamous for biting a piece of Evander Holyfield’s ear off during one of his most famous fights. Paul decided to joke about this event in a message to Tyson before their fight. “I’m gonna bite your ear off Mikey,” he wrote.

However, not everyone found Paul’s comments amusing. Some criticized him for agreeing to fight Tyson, who is 30 years older than him. “I’ve never seen a guy more happy to fight a 60 year old,” one person commented. Another said, “His eyes have seen more than you will ever do in your boxing career, Jake don’t compare someone you can’t win against,” A final user added, “Jake you are in your prime age but people can see your hand movements so clearly and you say you’re going to beat Mike, no way,”.

Paul hasn’t been knocked down in over 10 professional fights, and he’s daring Tyson, known as a knockout legend, to try and be the first to make him hit the mat.

“I want to see how hard he hits. Let’s see all the legends, the myths, because you’re Iron Mike Tyson, but I have an iron chin, people know that,” Paul boasted on his BS podcast.

“I take shots. I think people are underestimating me being able to deal with his power, and that’s something that’s going to make it interesting. I am biting off a lot. This is definitely the toughest, most savage, lethal opponent regardless of age, because the power is the last thing to go.”
