The UFC 300 will be remembered for years to come. The card had some of the most entertaining fights in the company’s history.
The main card was delivered massively, and it had some of the best finishes. The undercard was highlighted by the former champion Aljamain Sterling, who is making his featherweight debut in the UFC.
He had the challenge of overcoming Calvin Kattar in the course of three rounds. Aljamain Sterling has something to say about his performance in the UFC 300.
Aljamain Sterling beat Calvin Katta convincingly in a three-round bout after taking him down several times in the fight.
Aljamain Sterling makes a bold claim
Aljamain Sterling was facing a complicated and experienced fighter in Calvin Kattar.
Kattar is an elite striker who has beaten some of the top contenders in the UFC.
Calvin is one of the best fighters on the planet, but Sterling showed why he was the champion at Bantamweight when he manhandled Calvin through the fifteen minutes of their fight.
On his performance, Sterling said,
Was not the most entertaining but it was the most dominant fight that you could have possibly looked at from the entire card from top to bottom.
Aljamain Sterling made it clear that his fight was not the most entertaining fight on the UFC 300 card, but he thinks he had the most dominant performance on the UFC 300 card. Sterling took Kattar down and kept him there while he inflicted some massive damage on Calvin. Aljamain announced his arrival in style in the featherweight division.
Sterling might be on the lookout for some higher-ranked opponents in the division after emphatically beating Kattar. The Featherweight gold belongs to Ilia Topuria, and Max Holloway and Alexander Volkanovski are waiting on the sidelines. It’ll be interesting to see how Aljo fares against some of the best and top featherweights in the company. Sterling will be willing to be busy acquiring featherweight gold as soon as possible.
