This is the heart-warming moment Taylor Swift gifted her ’22 hat’ to a young fan who was wearing a matching T-shirt at the Cardiff leg of her Eras tour.

During each of her shows, Taylor, 34, gives a signed hat to one lucky fan in the crowd while singing her hit song 22 from her fourth studio album, Red.

At Tuesday’s show at the Principality Stadium, which is the only Welsh date of the Eras tour, the singer continued the tradition and plucked a lucky youngster from the crowd to receive the black bowler hat.

But this time, the Anti-Hero singer managed to choose a little girl who was wearing the exact same T-shirt as her.

In an adorable clip captured by a fan in the crowd, Taylor danced over to the fan who was grinning and singing along, before the pair shared a hug and she placed the hat on her head.

After she gave the excited youngster the hat, the pop star quickly realised they were matching and pulled her own shirt to acknowledge it, leading the stadium to erupt into cheers.

The little girl pulled at her own top in response and they high-fived before Taylor returned to the stage.

Taylor’s top reads: ‘A Lot Going On At The Moment,’ which is a variation of the one she wore in the 22 music video back in 2013, which read ‘Not A Lot Going On At The Moment’ – this is what the little girl’s top read.

For the Red Era section of the show, the singer always wears a slogan t-shirt, but often switches up what they say.

Other variations include: ‘We Are Never Getting Back Together Like Ever,’  ‘Who’s Taylor Swift Anyway? Ew’ and ‘This Is Not Taylor’s Version’.

So, it was total luck that both of them were sporting the same slogan for the Cardiff show.

The 22 hat recipient is chosen each night by Taylor’s team – usually fans who are dancing on the floor or have previously gone viral on social media for something Swiftie-related.

Tuesday’s sweet moment comes as fans are convinced that Taylor shaded her long-time nemesis, Scooter Braun, during the surprise song segment at the Cardiff show.

During the acoustic segment of the show, Taylor performed a mashup of her two diss tracks I Forgot That You Existed and This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things.

The choices immediately sent Swifties into a frenzy as they rushed to social media to point out the performance came on Braun’s 43rd birthday, and just one day after he announced his retirement from music management.

The 14-time Grammy winner never explicitly mentioned the entrepreneur by name, but has been vocal about their dispute over his acquisition of her first six albums in 2019.

Taylor also delighted fans at Tuesday’s gig by speaking Welsh before the show kicked off.

As she performed to a whopping crowd of 70,000, the star began the show by welcoming her fans and saying in Welsh ‘Croeso i’r daith Eras!’ which translates to ‘Welcome to the Eras Tour’.

Then during a rendition of break up hit We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together she passed her microphone to a dancer who exclaimed ‘Ych-a-fi’ a Welsh term to describe something disgusting.

She later gushed over the audience saying: ‘This crowd in Cardiff is one for the books. This crowd is different, you’re another level!’

Taylor’s next Eras Tour show is going to be the first of three at London’s Wembley Stadium, taking place on Friday June 21.
