Caitlin Clark’s boyfriend and brother have both weighed in on the WNBA‘s latest beef – liking tweets slamming the Indiana star’s rival Angel Reese.
Clark was brutally bodychecked by Chennedy Carter in the Fever’s highly-anticipated win over the Chicago Sky on Saturday, before Reese jumped off the bench to cheer the incident.
The moment created huge controversy and sparked a huge reaction online, with two of Clark’s biggest supporters seemingly giving their thoughts on the matter.
Clark is in a relationship with her college sweetheart Connor McCaffery, and fans noticed that he has regularly ‘liked’ posts slamming Reese over the past year.
In one post, Barstool Sports’ Dave Portnoy calls Reese a ‘classless piece of s***’ after her infamous ring celebration at Clark during their college days.

In another, McCaffery has liked a post that refers to Reese as ‘highkey not good… she’s just bigger than everyone.’
There is also a third post that relates to Clark and Reese sharing college basketball’s Athlete of the Year award.
The message – endorsed by McCaffery – slams the decision to give both players the title and not just Clark ‘because the publication is afraid of internet outrage.’
Clark’s brother Colin has also not been afraid to make his own feelings clear, liking a tweet about Reese ‘hopping off the bench to throw a parade for Caitlin Clark’s murder’.
In another, he liked a tweet claiming that Draymond Green would have been ‘facing jail’ if he’d done the same as Carter did to Clark in the Fever-Sky matchup.
The on-court controversy has sparked huge debate online, and is only set to intensify as the high-profile pair continue their professional careers.
Clark was selected No. 1 overall in May’s WNBA Draft, while Reese – an NCAA champion with LSU last year – went at No. 7 to Chicago.
In Saturday’s game, Clark ended up having the last laugh with her team holding on for a one-point win. The 71-70 triumph was the team’s first home win of the season.
There were 15 seconds left on the clock in the third quarter and when time was up, Clark gave her reaction to ESPN immediately after.
Fans were quick to point out some social media activity from Clark’s boyfriend and brother

‘I ain’t answering no Caitlin Clark questions,’ Carter said at the podium following the game
‘That’s just not a basketball play but I’ve got to play through it, that’s what basketball is about at this level,’ she said.
Afterwards, Carter refused to speak about the incident or what prompted her to hit out at her opponent.
When asked by a reporter in the post-game press conference, she said: ‘I ain’t answering no Caitlin Clark questions.
‘I don’t know what she said. I didn’t say anything.’
