FURIOUS Love Island fans are demanding Joey Essex is axed from the villa after breaking Samantha Kenny’s heart.

The Towie legend, 33, has made it clear ex-girlfriend Grace Jackson is the girl for him after a steamy sleepover in Casa Amor.

He delayed taking Sam to one side for a chat upon his return which made her feel increasingly upset.

When he eventually did pluck up the courage to have the heart to heart, it didn’t go smoothly.

He said: “I saw you upset earlier.”

Samantha replied: “Well yeah, I feel embarrassed if I’m being completely honest… I just feel like I was a bit of a placeholder until someone else come in.”

Joey said: “I didn’t want this to be the outcome.”

Samantha told him: “From what’s happened over there, why would I want to carry on? Did you kiss each other in there?”

Trying to flip the script, Joey said: ”Well, yeah… you ruled me out the minute those bombshells walked in you were done.”

In a shock move, Joey snogged Grace on the day beds and suggested they spend the night in the Hideaway.

The forward display was a surprise to the onlooking girls who hadn’t seen him show anywhere near as much affection to Sam in the previous two weeks.

Tearful Samantha told the girls she may as well leave at the end of the episode as they pleaded with her to stay.

In stark contrast, Joey and Grace, relishing a night together, couldn’t stop smiling.

Viewers didn’t like the way the whole affair was handled and have called for Joey to be removed.

One wrote on X: “so gone down in my estimation totally selfish and disregard for #Samantha’s feelings, Surely he could at least wait ONE night before sleeping with #Grace that’s him done in my estimation  get him out what a rat.”

Another said: “They’ve crossed the line. Get him out of here!!”

A third said: “I’m not even that big of a fan of Samantha but he literally has been playing this girl since Day 1!! Using her till Grace came in & in seconds easily scamming everyone & gaslighting Sam!! S**t is disgusting.”
