Meghan Markle 'frustrated' over Prince Harry as Duke longs for 'old life'

The fairy tale romance that swept the globe, involving Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, now seems to be encountering some storm clouds. According to Royal experts, Prince Harry’s eagerness to establish a permanent residence in his native United Kingdom is met with staunch opposition from his American-born wife.

The rift between the couple traces back to their tumultuous departure from Royal life in 2020. After stepping down as senior working Royals, Harry, 39, and Meghan, 42, resettled in California, where they’ve built a new life with their two children, Archie and Lilbit. While Harry expresses a longing to reconnect with his homeland, Meghan has made it abundantly clear she has no desire to return to the UK.

The tension in their marriage reportedly stems from Harry’s desire to return to the UK conflicting with Meghan’s reluctance. Royal commentator Kinsey Scoffield shared with the Daily Express, “I’m sure that Harry would love to have a permanent home in the UK, but Meghan Markle is the one thing holding him back because she tells us through her actions that she has no desire to return.”

The couple’s strained relationship with the British royal family, especially Harry’s bond with his brother, Prince William, and father, King Charles III, adds complexity to Meghan’s reluctance.

Meghan, who has openly discussed the challenges she faced within the firm, notably accusing the Palace of racism in her interview with Oprah Winfrey, seems resolute in her decision to stay away. A source told the Daily Mail, “She doesn’t want to be a part of the Royal Institution anymore, and frankly, I don’t think they want her there either.”Công nương Meghan Markle chi gần 4 tỉ đồng tiền trang phục khi công du Nigeria

Despite Meghan’s stance, Harry’s attachment to his homeland seems to be growing stronger. The prince, who served in the British army for a decade, maintains close ties with his military affiliations and veteran communities in the UK. He’s also made several trips back for significant events, such as the unveiling of Princess Diana’s statue. “Harry loves the UK and considers it his home,” a source shared. “He has a lot of friends there and a support network, but Megan just has no interest. She’s happy in California and doesn’t want to return.”

The tension over this issue reportedly causes strain in their marriage, leading to heated arguments behind closed doors. “It’s a very sensitive topic that they’ve discussed at length,” a source revealed. “Harry is obviously torn because, on the one hand, he misses the UK terribly, but on the other, he doesn’t want to upset Meghan. It’s a real source of tension between them.”

Despite the challenges, Harry remains determined to have a permanent residence in the UK, even if it means going against Meghan’s wishes. He’s been exploring properties in the countryside, away from media scrutiny. “He’s been looking at various properties, but Meghan has made it clear she has no interest in living there, even part-time,” the source disclosed.

As the couple navigates this obstacle in their relationship, Royal watchers wonder if Harry’s desire to reconnect with his roots will prevail or if Meghan’s opposition will win out. Only time will tell if the Duke and Duchess of Sussex can reconcile their differing visions for the future.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could be returning to the UK very soon, but they’ve been given a warning before they reunite with the Royal Family.

The Duke of Sussex has been open about his plans to return to the UK and it looks like they could be happening sooner than fans realised. Harry is expected to make a rare trip back to the UK next month for a special event to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.

The event will take place at St Paul’s Cathedral on May 8. It’s currently unclear if Meghan will join her husband at the event, but one royal expert has warned they “still have some way to go” before their joint UK return.

Royal correspondent Cameron Walker told GB News : “They still have some way to go if they are to increase their popularity with the British public.” His comments come after a recent YouGov poll has shown the latest popularity results for the Royal Family.

Harry has been favoured by 31 percent of those polled, and Meghan by only 21 percent. Their results differ from the Prince and Princess of Wales, with Kate favoured by 76 percent of people polled and William by 73.

Harry has spoken openly about his desire to reunite with the Royal Family. Speaking on Good Morning America, he revealed: “My family and my life in California is as it is. I have got other trips planned. That would take me through the UK or back to the UK, so you know, I’ll stop in and see my family as much as I can.”

Cameron’s comments come as Meghan and Harry put on a united front while filming their latest Netflix show. The couple were spotted smiling and walking hand-in-hand ahead of Harry’s fundraising polo match for Sentebale.

The footage captured will be part of Harry’s new show for the streaming service which will give “unprecedented access to the world of professional polo” and the US Open Polo Championship in Florida, Netflix said.

Meghan is also producing a new show for Netflix which will focus on lifestyle and tie in with her brand American Riviera Orchard. Both shows are still in the early stages of production, but release dates are expected to be announced in the coming months.

King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William, and Princess Kate continue to display a united front against any adversity thrown their way.

Speaking to GB News, royal expert Lady Colin Campbell claimed a new sense of unity fostered within the royal family after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle abruptly called time on their duties four years ago.

The couple since moved to Montecito, California, to raise their children away from the shadow of negativity that comes with being part of the firm.

They also hurled several allegations at the senior royal members on several occasions in an attempt to expose them.

“They’re almost a unit. They, and each of them, function in keeping with the best interests of, not only the monarchy, but each other’s interests,” explained Lady C to the outlet.

“Because they’re all very decent, family orientated and loving people who want everything to go as well as it can. They’re very positive, the four of them.

“All this adversity, not only the health issues, but all of the problems with Harry and Meghan has brought them all together,” she added.
