A third added: “How could producers allow Nicole to walk out with Bridget Jones-level bronzer stripes all over her face? That’s just mean!”
Another commented: “Please I’m begging the producers or the girls… someone please sort Nicole’s make-up out. I mean what the actual F.”
Last night’s episode was filled with drama as viewers witnessed the Casa Amor recoupling.
Amidst the tension, it featured one of the sweetest moments as Ciaran and Nicole reunited after days apart.
Ciaran’s loyalty was never in question as he consistently longed for his girl.
But as for Nicole, she was left anxious after she discovered that Ciaran had kissed bombshell Emma in the other villa as part of a game.
Standing at the firepit, Ciaran told Maya: “I’ve enjoyed the time with the boys and the girls, I’ve created good friendships with all of them, but three of four days [apart from Nicole] was too long.”
“I’ve decided to stick with Nicole.”
He branded their connection “true love”, before Nicole arrived in floods of tears.
Maya then wiped away her own tears, saying: “You’ve set me right off.”
A TV source told MailOnline of her tears: “Maya feels connected to the Islanders… she struggled to hide her emotion during filming of the Casa Amor recoupling.
“It was tough for her to see the reaction from some of the girls, who were shocked to discover the level of betrayal demonstrated by their partner.
“Some of the couples had been together for a significant number of weeks so it was particularly painful for those to reunite under different circumstances.
“It was one of the most dramatic Love Island episodes ever filmed, so much so, bosses had to extend the show.”
