Cameron Brink Sends Three-Word Message to Caitlin Clark In Postgame Interaction

WNBA rookies Caitlin Clark and Cameron Brink recently went head-to-head in their second professional matchup. Clark picked up the first win in L.A. and Brink followed that with a victory against the Indiana Fever on the road, Tuesday night.

Clark was selected with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA draft and Brink was picked at No. 2. These two rookies will have their careers monitored side-by-side for years. Whether they play different positions or not, they’ll be constantly compared to one another.

They both have a fiery competitive drive on the hardwood, but it’s clear from a recent video that energy leaves when they pass the dotted lines.

Brink and Clark were having a postgame interaction, when Brink told Clark, “Good job baby,” via Cait22fever on X.

Both the Fever and Los Angeles Sparks have started the season on a rough patch. Indiana stands as the No. 5 team in the Eastern Conference with a 1-7 record, while the Sparks are at the bottom of the Western Conference with a 2-4 record.

Clark and Brink have immense pressure to perform early in their careers for two teams that are searching for an answer.

They’ve played their part in the little success the Fever and Sparks have had this season. The Top 2 picks in the draft are the frontrunners for the Rookie of the Year award.

Brink is currently averaging 9.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, and a league-leading three blocks per game. Clark leads all rookies in scoring with an average of 17.3 points, adding 6.3 assists in the process.
