Close brothers and sisters

Bigi Jackson, also known as Blanket, was interviewed at the Jackson family’s Hayvenhurst estate in Los Angeles, during his brother Michael Joseph “Prince” Jackson’s Halloween Thriller Night party. Bigi led the audience around the estate and talked about the legacy his father left for him and his siblings: “There is a lot of history in the house and studio here. That’s what he (Michael Jackson) was all about. That’s what each of us wants to do – create things that people can enjoy and that benefit their lives.”

As for Bibi, he is currently living in a multi-million dollar mansion on the outskirts of Los Angeles. The siblings still maintain a close relationship even though they rarely see each other. Last week, Prince Jackson (eldest brother, 24 years old) also had an interview sharing about his relationship with Bigi. According to Prince, there is no gap between the two of them, who is brother and who is younger, but are very close.

“At this point in our lives, we really don’t feel like there’s any rankings here. We are siblings, each of us has our own strengths and complement each other. We were so close, and because I was the oldest, dad always told me that I had to make sure we were all taken care of and that I had to be the one to lead the two of them.”

The long-haired boy has grown up now

Standing in a room decorated with Michael Jackson’s iconic costumes and performances throughout the years, Bigi also told many things about his father. In June 2009, when the King of Pop died of cardiac arrest, Bigi was only 7 years old. The image of his innocent face in a black tuxedo made the world feel sad.

Bigi’s mother has never had her identity or public image revealed. While Bigi’s two older siblings, Prince and Paris, are the result of Michael and Debbie Rowe’s short-lived marriage in the late 90s.

In these latest images, Bigi Jackson looks mature and steadfast despite still keeping his long hair style since he was a child. Although he still regularly updates photos on Instagram, when he officially appears on television, Bigi still cannot help but surprise. He also has a friendly and cheerful way of talking.

When asked about climate change, Bigi replied: “It is important that we understand environmental issues. I believe we still have a lot of work to do, but at least our younger generation has knowledge and knows what to do.”
