SAY IT LOUDER FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE BACK, CHUCK!!!!!! Charles Barkley Ripped Into The “Petty WNBA Players” That Should Be Thanking Caitlin Clark Instead Of Hating On Her

If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a hundred thousand times: it’s absolutely fucking bananas that the WNBA cries from the mountaintops how little attention and respect they get, but as soon as they start to get it because of Caitlin Clark, they hate on her.
The WNBA players should be on their knees (relax, Harrison Butker fans) kissing Caitlin’s feet for all she’s done for them. Oh, you want private flights? Caitlin walks through the airport one time and boom, the entire league gets chartered flights for the next two seasons.
You want bigger crowds? Caitlin plays in one preseason game and gets 2x the highest attended Fever game from all of last season. The list goes on and on and on. I mean, the totality of WNBA blogs on Barstool in the last decade is about four.
Caitlin Clark gets one almost every other day. And the attention is all positive!!! But the response from the WNBA players seems so negative….?

HOT NEWS:
CAITLIN CLARK SHATTERED A SEEMINGLY UNASSAILABLE RECORD, PROMPTING A SWIFT AND STRATEGIC RESPONSE FROM NIKE.
The billboards, unveiled in Iowa City and New York City, honor the basketball star’s latest achievements
Nike is toasting the achievements of Caitlin Clark. In separate billboards in New York City and Iowa City, the basketball star’s latest scoring accomplishments are celebrated. Clark signed an NIL deal with Nike in 2022
Nike is showing its appreciation for Caitlin Clark !
The Iowa basketball star — who became the all-time scoring leader in Division I history on Sunday — is featured on a new billboard in Times Square in New York City.
“This was never a long shot,” reads the caption underneath an image of Clark, 22, shooting one of her trademark 3-point shots.
The billboard is one of two that the company unveiled in Manhattan on Monday, alongside a tribute to LeBron James , who reached another scoring milestone over the weekend when he set an NBA record for most points ever — 40,000.
For Clark, the billboard tributes are also in full effect in her collegiate hometown of Iowa City.
Before she broke Pete Maravich’s longstanding record on Sunday, Nike unveiled an ad on Sunday morning which displayed a giant banner honoring Clark across two buildings, separated by a downtown street.
In one banner, Clark is taking a jump shot with the ball in mid-air, and on the other banner across the street, a basketball hoop is lined up perfectly to receive the ball.
The Nike catchphrase “this was never a long shot” is also displayed underneath.
Clark signed an NIL deal with the sportswear giant in 2022.
Amid the accolades, the athlete and her team are preparing for March Madness — and Clark is also eying her future.
Last Thursday, the Hawkeyes star announced that she will be entering the 2024 WNBA Draft, scheduled for April 15 in New York City, after the NCAA Tournament.
“While this season is far from over and we have a lot more goals to achieve, it will be my last one at Iowa. I am excited to be entering the 2024 WNBA Draft,” Clark began in her statement , shared to X.
She continued, “It is impossible to fully express my gratitude to everyone who has supported me during my time at Iowa — my teammates, who made the last four years the best; my coaches, trainers, and staff who always let me be me.”
“Hawkeyes fans who filled Carver every night; and everyone who came out to support us across the country, especially the young kids.”
