Reba McEntire has denied calling Taylor Swift an ‘entitled brat’ after the Super Bowl in Las Vegas.

The Voice coach, 68, responded to a post made by a conservative Facebook page called America Loves Liberty, after they claimed she talked ‘about how disappointed she was to look up at the big screen while performing The National Anthem, only to see Taylor Swift laughing and drinking and making a mockery of the event.’

The page added a claim that Reba said: ‘I let her have it afterward. She’s an entitled little brat.’

Reba shared the image on her Instagram and captioned it: ‘Please don’t believe everything you see on the Internet. I did not say this.’

‘Taylor is a wonderful artist, strong role model and has done so much good for so many people and the music industry,’ Reba – who admitted she wasn’t attracted to her boyfriend Rex Linn at first –  added.

The Fancy singer has been a longtime and vocal supporter of the Karma singer and her career for more than 20 years.

In December, McEntire talked about the moment she saw a very young Swift play the song Tim McGraw from her debut self-titled album in front McGraw himself.

‘[Taylor] walked down the steps looking right at Tim McGraw singing, and I’m like, “This girl’s gonna be a huge star,”’ McEntire told NBC’s TikTok channel.

‘Number one: to walk, sing, walk downstairs at your icon that you’re really wanting to sing to and impress without a flaw. I mean, I was impressed.’

The Does He Love You singer even approves of the Midnights singer’s relationship with Travis Kelce, 34, even though she had a crush on him.

‘Oh, my gosh, I am so mad at her because I had a crush on him,’ she joked during an appearance on Today in October 2023.

‘Now I can’t have a crush anymore because he’s dating her,’ she joked.

Her fans overwhelmingly were on her side after she called out the trolling post.
