Angel Reese’s Head Slams On Court After Intense Exchange With Atlanta Dream Star

The Chicago Sky and the Atlanta Dream are locked in an extremely tight WNBA battle on Tuesday.

Sky rookie Angel Reese has produced another excellent performance. The “Chi Barbie” has 12 points and 18 rebounds in the game with less than two minutes to play.

Yet, one scary play took place in the fourth quarter that had fans worried whether Reese was all right.

In the middle of the fourth quarter, Reese was jostling with Dream player Cheyenne Parker-Tyus for a rebound in the paint.

The two got tied up, and Reese went sprawling to the ground.

And her head smacked into the court.

Reese remained on the ground for a moment, grabbing her head and wincing in pain.

Parker-Tyus was initially called for a foul on the play. But after a review, it was deemed that the contact between her and Reese was incidental, and no foul was called on either player.

Thankfully, Reese managed to get up and return to the game.

Hopefully the star rookie will feel no ill effects from the injury.
