Caitlin Clark has not only earned the respect and admiration of million of fans, Nike and the Hawkeyes faithful, but also of the best basketball players in the world.

In The Athletic’s latest annual anonymous NBA players poll, published Monday, the former Iowa women’s basketball and new Indiana Fever superstar was voted among their favorite non-NBA athletes.

Of the 115 votes cast, Clark finished in second place with 6.1% of the vote behind only Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson (13%).

“She’s unreal,” one NBA player said about Clark, according to the article. “I’m excited to see how her journey pans out and what she does for the women’s game.”

The Dowling Catholic High School alum received more votes than some of the best athletes of all time, including the world’s fastest sprinter in Jamaica’s Usain Bolt, tennis legend Novak Djokovic, reigning Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes and Mike Tyson, one of boxing’s best and most famous heavyweights ever.

With every new record set and story published, Clark’s star continues to shine brighter.
