WNBA star Kelsey Plum announces shock split from NFL tight end Darren Waller with cryptic statement as couple file for divorce

 

 

WNBA star has Kelsey Plum has released an emotional and cryptic statement confirming she has split from NFL husband Darren Waller.

The Las Vegas Aces star and Giants tight end tied the knot last year but on Tuesday, Plum said ‘now I see it’s time to go.’

‘I’m devastated. I walked through fire for that man, but I now see it’s time to go,’ her statement read.

 

 

According to 3 News, records show that a joint petition for a divorce was filed on Tuesday, in Clark County District Court.

Plum, who has won back-to-back WNBA championships with Las Vegas, hinted that that she would one day divulge details behind the separation.

Waller, the highest-paid tight end in the NFL with a salary of around $17million, has so far remained silent following Plum’s statement.

The 31-year-old was selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the sixth round of the 2015 draft. He then joined the Raiders in 2018 before leaving for New York following the 2022 season.

Plum, meanwhile, was the No 1 overall pick in the 2017 WNBA draft. She is a two-time WNBA champion and a two-time WNBA All-Star.
