Caitlin Clark established herself as a standout player for the Iowa Hawkeyes before transitioning to the WNBA.
Over the course of four seasons with Iowa, Clark compiled an impressive college career that stands out as one of the best in women’s basketball history
. She achieved milestones such as winning two National Player of the Year awards, earning three first-team All-American honors, and setting a new record for the most points scored in college basketball, regardless of gender.
The one accolade Clark failed to achieve in college was winning a National Championship. Clark, along with other stars such as Kate Martin and Gabbie Marshall, led Iowa to two title appearances but fell just short in both.
Since joining the Indiana Fever, Clark has drawn increased interest to the WNBA. Although her new team had a tough start to the 2024 season, they have since become one of the hottest teams in the league.

On Thursday, another former Hawkeyes teammate of Clark’s, Jada Gyamfi, made a big announcement.
Gyamfi revealed that she will be starting her own podcast called ‘Fresh Tawk.’ The podcast will premiere on July 2 and will release a new episode every Tuesday.
Clark took notice of Gyamfi’s announcement and made one simple request to her former Iowa teammate in the comment section.
“Get me on the show,” Clark said.
Clark also made note of the cereal box decoration in the background of Gyamfi’s post.
The box contained an image of Clark during her time with the Hawkeyes.
“Love the cereal in the back,” Clark commented.
Gyamfi played two seasons with Clark at Iowa but didn’t get much time on the court. In 20 games last year, She averaged 1.4 points and 0.6 rebounds in 4.0 minutes per game.
With the departure of many Iowa starters, she will likely get more playing time this upcoming season.
Make sure to watch out for upcoming episodes of ‘Fresh Tawk’ because there’s a good chance that Clark will be featured in one of them.
