Rather than staying in the United States to follow the progress of the NBA playoffs, Victor Wembanyama returned to France to attend a match of his little brother, Oscar, in recent hours. And he was not alone for the occasion.

Despite a most successful adaptation to the United States, he did not hide his homesickness in recent months. No wonder, then, that Victor Wembanyama showed a big smile this Saturday.

Having returned to France for a few days, the young and prodigious insider makes sure to spend as much time as possible with his family. Which also explains his notable presence at the Accor Arena this Saturday:

A future Wembanyama duo at Spurs?

At the heart of a day dedicated to the Coupe de France in Paris, Wembanyama came to attend the final of the U17 competition.

Final between Cholet and ASVEL in which his little brother, Oscar, participated and in which he distinguished himself with 14 points scored.

A performance which did not escape Victor, inevitably installed in the front row of the stands, nor a high-ranking member… of the Spurs:

So just like that, Spurs GM Brian Wright is in France with Wemby.

Obviously also passing through France, Brian Wright was able to see the talent of Oscar, 17 years old, who has already panicked the US and the mock drafts for several weeks .

It remains to be seen whether he intends to bring the two brothers together in the future, or even another French nugget such as Soren Bracq, MVP of the meeting with 31 points.

Back in France for a well-deserved vacation, Victor Wembanyama apparently took Spurs GM Brian Wright with him. The opportunity for the latter to discover with his own eyes the promising profile of young Oscar.
