Until now, Angel Reese has achieved everything she’s aimed for except one thing. “I want Michael Jordan to come to a game,” Reese shared her unfulfilled wish with WGN News.

Despite showering love on the NBA legend, she has never received a response from him. But this hasn’t stopped Reese from admiring Jordan.

This time, Reese wore a Jordan shirt to portray her love for Number 23.

To share Reese’s recent move with the spectators, Quin took to her X account and penned, “Angel Reese rocking a Jordan shirt? Yeah, that rookie consecutive double-doubles record is hers today.

Since her arrival in the WNBA, Reese has been a polarizing player in the league. Recently, she climbed the leaderboard with her fifth straight double-double.

Now, she’s the fourth rookie in WNBA history to achieve this impressive feat in five games.

Still, all of these records aren’t enough to attract Jordan’s attention to the WNBA.

“I’m telling you right now, I want Michael Jordan to come to a game. I’ve never met him. That’s why the first time I want him to come to a game,” Reese added.

Michael Jordan began his basketball career in 1984 and went on to win six national championship titles.

Despite achieving all this success, he has never attended a WNBA game. Although he has made appearances at other sports events like NASCAR and golf, there have been no sightings of him at a women’s basketball league game.

However, now it seems possible.

Will the GOAT acknowledge the WNBA rookie?

On Thursday, the Chicago Sky and Reese made a controversial move. On their official X account, Sky posted a photo of Reese wearing a sweater featuring Michael Jordan’s photograph with the caption, “Peep the top,” accompanied by a GOAT emoji. Undoubtedly, Reese’s attempt is a standout and a perfect way to alleviate the Sky’s stress before a matchup.

Do you know the pros of meeting Michael Jordan? Back in 2021, Jordan made history by signing over 11 WNBA athletes.

“These amazing athletes are defining a lot of things about Jordan Brand and leading a true conversation that’s impacting culture and our communities across the globe,” Jordan said in a statement.

Notably, Reese has various partners, including Sonic, Xfinity, JanSport, Bose, McDonald’s, and Sonic, totaling up to $390,000. As Reese’s influence has extended its reach after entering the WNBA, her annual sponsor payday is estimated at $875,000.

Her 2.6 million social media followers undoubtedly make her apt for a collaboration with Jordan. But Reese’s target is a meetup with Jordan. The question is: Will Jordan be able to accomplish this “Jordan” goal?
