We’ll never forget where we were when Taylor Swift rushed the field at M&T Bank Stadium after the Kansas City Chiefs clinched a spot in Super Bowl LVIII. You could even say that it will be future generation’s Roman empire. The couple’s celebratory smooches and hugs practically broke the internet on Sunday. And, as if it weren’t clear enough, apparently Tay and Trav are “very in love.”

“Taylor and Travis are so excited that the Chiefs and Travis are heading to the Super Bowl,” a source told Entertainment Tonight. “They’re very in love and Taylor is super proud of him. They’re both extremely dedicated and hardworking and understand each other. They are relishing in this moment.”

ICYMI (which feels nearly impossible), Swift joined Kelce’s family on the field on Sunday to congratulate the NFL star on his big win. Images and videos of the couple commemorating the achievement (the celebration included hugs, back pats, and a few kisses) immediately starting circulating on social media.

Swifties (and some professional lip readers) also started deciphering the couple’s conversation. In one clip posted to X (formerly Twitter) by the NFL, Kelce can be seen embracing Swift while tears of joy streamed down his face.

Fans believe that the couple exchanged “I love yous” during their sweet interaction. “Tay, I’m going to enjoy with the guys, I love you,” Kelce told Swift. “So much it’s not even funny.”

Other videos captured the two initially finding each other on the field and sharing a kiss before Swift exclaimed, “I can’t believe you did that!” Travis was also congratulated by his older brother Jason and their father, Ed Kelce.

According to People, during his speech to his teammates, Travis quoted the same Beastie Boys lyrics that he recited after winning the 2023 Super Bowl, “You’ve got to fight / for your right / to party.”We’ll be enjoying these videos on repeat while we wait to see if Tay makes a (very doable) appearance at Super Bowl LVIII.

Taylor Swift praised by Chiefs star Justin Reid, who ‘can’t understand why she is getting all the hate’ by cheering boyfriend Travis Kelce on for Kansas City: ‘She’s very, very sweet’

Kansas City Chiefs star Justin Reid has paid a glowing compliment to Taylor Swift as the team’s most famous new fan gears up to cheer them on at the Super Bowl.

Swift went public with her relationship with Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and she has been to 12 Kansas City games so far – with a 13th set to follow next week when they face San Francisco 49ers at the Super Bowl in Las Vegas.

Some fans have grown tired of Swift’s presence inevitably taking some of the limelight away from the action on the field but Chiefs safety Reid is only glad to welcome the star to Chiefs Kingdom.

Speaking to TMZ Sports, he said: ‘She’s very, very sweet.

‘I don’t understand why she’s getting all the hate. She’s an awesome person, awesome artist all around.’

He was asked about Swift potentially joining the Chiefs for any Super Bowl celebrations and said: ‘I’m sure she’ll be busy celebrating with her man.’

Speaking earlier this week to ‘Inside the NFL’, Reid said he was pleased to see how happy Kelce looks with Swift.

‘Their relationship is unique and special and it’s for them, man,’ Reid said. ‘So I’ll let them have their moment together. And I’m not going to step too much into what’s their business.’

Kelce and the Chiefs will land in Vegas on Sunday evening and begin a week of preparations and build up for the game at Allegiant Stadium on February 11.

As for Swift, she faces a little bit of a race against time to make the game.

She plays four shows on her hugely successful Eras Tour in Tokyo, Japan from Wednesday to Saturday next week.

Swift is then expected to fly back to Nevada on the west coast to cheer Kelce on for the game but might not have too much time for celebrations if the Chiefs win.

She is scheduled to tour Australia, starting in Melbourne, from February 16.
