Taylor Swift Says She and Travis Kelce ‘Don’t Care’ About Public Nature of Romance: We’re ‘Proud of Each Other’
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are going strong. As the pop superstar, 34, continues to support the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, also 34, at his games, a source tells PEOPLE exclusively the couple remain “really happy” together.
Last weekend she was seen interacting with fans at Arrowhead Stadium, where the Chiefs beat the Dolphins 7-3 in below-zero temperatures. In a wide-ranging cover story with WSJ. Magazine, Kelce opened up about his relationship with Swift, acknowledging he’s “never dated anyone with that kind of aura about them.” “But at the same time, I’m not running away from any of it …
The scrutiny she gets, how much she has a magnifying glass on her, every single day, paparazzi outside her house, outside every restaurant she goes to, after every flight she gets off, and she’s just living, enjoying life,” he told the outlet.
Speaking for the first time about their romance to Time in December, Swift similarly underscored their support for each another. “When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” said the Grammy winner. “The opposite of that is you have to go to the extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. We’re just proud of each other.”
Swift is currently on a break from her record-breaking Eras Tour and is set to return to the stage next month. In November Kelce flew to Buenos Aires during his bye week to cheer on his girlfriend at her show, where he was seen singing and dancing along to every song. After the show, the couple delighted fans when Swift ran into his arms for a romantic kiss after changing the lyrics to her song “Karma,” giving Kelce a shoutout: “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs coming straight home to me.”
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift should get MARRIED, says FOX NFL reporter Erin Andrews… five months after the Chiefs star credited her for helping whirlwind romance with the pop star
FOX Sports sideline reporter Erin Andrews is rooting for the romance between Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and pop superstar Taylor Swift.
Andrews is a fan of Swift’s and has been on many NFL sidelines over the years – including a few with Kelce on them.
“I want them to get married so bad,” the FOX Sports commentator recently told E! News in an exclusive interview. “I love, love. I love him. He’s amazing.”
As for Swift, Erin says, “I’m fully obsessed with her and what she’s done in her life, how she makes me feel as a woman.”
Andrews played a significant role in the formation of the relationship between the two icons.

Kelce and Swift have been in a whirlwind romance since the start of the NFL season
Now they’re both in something of an offseason – with Taylor taking a break from touring
Travis and Taylor confirmed their romance after a Chiefs-Bears game on September 24 of the 2023 season.
A few days later, Travis gave credit to Erin and her ‘Calm Down’ podcast co-host Charissa Thompson for encouraging Taylor to give him a shot.
He wrote to both Andrews and Thompson on Instagram, saying, ‘I owe you big time!!’
In mid-October, Swift was seen wearing a jacket that came from Andrews’ WEAR fashion line.
“I’m so pumped how happy she’s made Travis,” Andrews said. “Their support for each other is adorable.”
Travis recently supported Taylor by traveling halfway across the world to see her in both Australia and Singapore.
“Fun times in Singapore,” he said on the March 13 episode of the New Heights podcast. “I got to see two amazing shows of the Eras Tour. The last of the leg that Taylor has until she’s back at it here in a couple months.’
But now they both have some time off. Travis was recently spotted in his home town of Cleveland, enjoying some pizza.
