Caitlin Clark showed up and showed out against LSU on Monday night as she helped Iowa advance to a second consecutive Final Four appearance.

The Hawkeyes guard scored 41 points on the night, setting an NCAA Tournament record by drilling nine threes. Clarke also made 12 assists to break another March Madness record, but perhaps her best pass was reserved for after the game as she would immediately toss the match ball to her brother sitting several rows away in the stands after the clock expired.

Fortunately, the heartwarming moment was captured by Yahoo Sports’ Andy Behrens, who shared the clip to social media.

Caitlin Clark’s Shooting Was Unlike Anything We’ve Seen In The NCAA Tournament

While she tossed a record number of assists, Caitlin Clark’s shooting set her apart, and she was near impossible to guard.

My shot felt good in warmups. Helps when you make your first 3 as a shooter,” she said, via ESPN. “Made my first to start the second half, that helps too. Nice to have a game where I got some good looks from 3.

There’s not a lot of strategy. You’ve got to guard her. Nobody else seems to be able to guard her,” LSU coach Kim Mulkey admitted. “We didn’t even guard her last year when we beat them. She’s just a generational player, and she just makes everybody around her better.
