Most (if not all) of the Indiana Fever’s roster and coaching staff spent their off-day on Sunday attending Fever guard Erica Wheeler’s pickleball event for her charity.

Two people who were certainly in attendance were rookie sensation Caitlin Clark and her boyfriend, Connor McCaffery.

The couple (who met each other and began dating at the University of Iowa) spent the day taking on all comers at the pickleball court.

It’s unknown whether Clark and McCaffrey were picking up wins.

But what’s for sure is that Clark’s competitive spirit made a full appearance.

Which is proven by a hilarious photo of her and McCaffery that was posted on X by Bri Lawerke.

It appears that Clark is slamming her pickleball racket on the court in frustration, while a (lightheartedly) exasperated McCaffery looks on from behind her.

And fans are finding the photo hilarious.

“Connor looks utterly betrayed,” one X user wrote.

“Someone is buying dinner tonight! I like those shoes too, dang!!!” added another.

Considering this photo (plus the fact that Clark posted a video roasting teammate Lexie Hull for being a “try hard”), we imagine that Clark didn’t find too much success on the court with McCaffery on Sunday.
