Caitlin Clark’s Sweet Response To Gabbie Marshall’s Major Personal News
Caitlin Clark and Gabbie Marshall were teammates with the Iowa Hawkeyes for many years. From 2020-2024, they went through all the highs and lows together with their team.
They played in the last two Women’s National Championships together and fell short in both of them. But in these runs, they brought in so many fans to women’s basketball.
Now, both are moving on to their next stage in life. Clark has gone to the WNBA after being selected first overall by the Indiana Fever in the WNBA draft.
Marshall just announced that she has graduated from the University of Iowa in a heartfelt social media post.

Clark responded to Marshall’s post with a simple message.
“I love you forever and always. My girl for life.”
Clark also posted a story with more words of encouragement for Marshall.
“Forever proud of you.”

Caitlin Clark turned over a game-winning opportunity as the Indian Fever fell 85-83 to the Seattle Storm on Wednesday.
The Climate Pledge Arena saw its highest attendance for a WNBA game as 18,343 fans packed the house to see their Storm host Clark and the Fever.
They were not disappointed as both sides traded blows in a thrilling game that saw Indiana claw their way up only to suffer their fifth loss and move to 0-5 this season.
The No. 1 draft pick scored the last two of her 21 points in the free throw line to bring Indiana within an 83-84 score line with 11 seconds left on the clock.
After Seattle turned the ball over, Fever coach Christie Sides drew up a play for her star rookie to lead them to victory. However, Clark failed to catch the ball properly as it went loose and into a jump-ball situation with 4.7 seconds left.

Fever center Aliyah Boston won the tip on their side of the court. However, the Storm gained the possession as Indiana was quick to foul.
Nneka Ogwumike went to the stripe and sunk both free throws to ice the victory for Seattle. Ogwumike was also a rebound short of a double-double with 22 points and nine boards.
Meanwhile, Jewell Loyd led Seattle in three categories with 32 points, 11 rebounds, and six assists.
Ezi Magbegor also missed a double-double mark by a rebound with 14 points. Furthermore, Sami Whitcomb came off the bench and tallied 10 points as the only other Storm player in double-digits.
On the other hand, Clark parlayed her scoring with seven rebounds and seven assists. Kelsey Mitchell and NaLyssa Smith scored 17 and 16 points each, with the latter also snagging 11 boards.

When asked about the hype around Clark, Loyd shook her head and said: ‘It’s never about them, it’s about us. So we appreciate you guys coming out here and making a statement.’
Seattle sits eighth in the WNBA standings with a 2-3 record. Meanwhile, Clark and the Fever dwell at the bottom of the standings while hunting for their first win this season.
Indiana’s west coast road trip continues on Thursday as they face the Sparks in Los Angeles.
