Angel Reese Names The Greatest WNBA Player Of All-Time

Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese made all sorts of headlines on Sunday after her huge performance against the Seattle Storm.

Ultimately, the Sky lost with a final score of 84-71, but the defeat did little to overshadow another historic achievement from the 22-year-old.

Reese tallied her 13th straight double-double on Sunday after putting up 17 points and 14 rebounds.

In the process, the Sky forward broke a long-standing WNBA record for the most consecutive double-doubles.

This incredible record was previously held by soon-to-be Hall of Famer Candace Parker, who previously set the mark back in 2010.

For her part, Reese had nothing but good things to say about Parker in the former’s post-game interview.

In fact, Reese had the ultimate praise for the Chicago legend:

“She’s the GOAT,” Reese declared (h/t espnw on Instagram). “Just being able to be named with an amazing player like that is just always going to be special to me.”

Parker may have played just two seasons with the Sky toward the latter part of her iconic career, but there’s no denying that she holds a special place in the hearts of Chicago fans everywhere.

Angel Reese is clearly in the same boat after her “GOAT” declaration for Parker.
