Among the biggest phenomena of this WNBA season, Angel Reese is regularly trashed by critics. The latest attack also involved a certain Joakim Noah in the discussion, who had not asked for anything.

With Cameron Brink now out for the season after torn cruciate ligaments, the focus among WNBA rookies will be even more on Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese.

What could be more logical since the two nuggets have been talked about a lot since the start of the season, but not necessarily always in a good way.

The first, for example, appears to be quite clumsy when shooting and would be targeted by opponents.

As for the second, if she has just set a record in the league by becoming the first rookie to have seven consecutive double-doubles, she must have endured a lot of criticism since the start of the year. And they don’t come out of nowhere…

On the one hand, her statements to the media regularly come across as jealousy towards Caitlin Clark , on whom she even committed an attack recently.

But beyond that and although the former LSU player blackens the stats sheet every night, we cannot say that she is the most impressive on the field.

She certainly averages 12 points and 10 rebounds, but only 37% shooting… an address unworthy of an interior player and we have often seen her miss easy baskets near the circle.

What to get turned on by Jason Whitlock on Fox Sports :

Angel Reese is arguably the most overrated athlete in all sports.

She is as incompetent as any player in the WNBA. She’s clumsy, look at the way she runs.

She is incredibly unathletic. She has no skills, no moves in the position. Candace Parker, I’m sure, is looking at her and laughing… This woman is a rebounder, and that’s it.

She has no other string to her bow, which is why she hates Caitlin Clark so much.

It’s difficult to be more scathing towards the Chicago rookie, but the fact is that she still has a lot of progress to make on the offensive level.

However, the humiliation does not stop there for Reese since Steve Kim added another layer:

She has Joakim Noah’s game and people talk about her like she’s Derrick Rose. You have to be honest.

Jason Whitlock : She would dream of playing Joakim Noah.

Whether in attitude or simply from a performance point of view, Angel Reese is still light years away from unanimous approval. Fortunately for the young Chicago Sky player, she has her entire career to remedy this.
