Caitlin Clark may have said that her rivalry with Angel Reese was created by the media; however, their actions online might suggest otherwise.
Upon looking at both Clark and Reese’s Instagram accounts, it was discovered that the two players do not follow each other.
As for Reese, she does follow Las Vegas Aces superstar A’ja Wilson, as well as Brink among others.
With that being said, while Clark doesn’t like the rivalry discourse with Reese, it’s unlikely to end any time soon … if ever.
Again, in normal circumstances, it’s not really a big deal if competitors don’t follow each other on social media. They don’t have to be friendly with each other anyway. It would have been a bigger story if a player didn’t follow a teammate.

Unfortunately, in Clark and Reese’s case, every action or decision they make on and off the court will always be scrutinized and put under the microscope. After all, not only are they often pitted against each other, but they also happen to be two of the most popular players in the league today.
Sure enough, many will use the recent Instagram discovery to fuel the narrative that they are truly rivals–no matter how much they deny it.
