Shaquille O’Neal has been an excellent mentor for Angel Reese since her days with the LSU Tigers.
The NBA Hall of Famer has continuously praised and supported Reese throughout her career, and he continued that trend during the most recent episode of The Big Podcast.
“She’s playing great. She’s doing it our way. She’s playing our game. She’s unapologetic, which I love,” Shaq said.
Reese is off to a stellar start to her WNBA career as the No. 7 overall pick for the Chicago Sky.
The former LSU superstar is currently on a record-setting streak of 10 consecutive double-doubles — surpassing the previous single-season mark set by all-time great Candace Parker.
Reese currently has the second-best odds to win Rookie of the Year, trailing only No. 1 overall pick Caitlin Clark.

“I don’t know what the criteria is for Rookie of the Year, but I love the marketing that’s going on between [Angel] and Caitlin,” Shaq continued.
