It’s abundantly clear that Caitlin Clark has the respect and admiration of her Indiana Fever teammates.

On Saturday afternoon, Clark became the first rookie in WNBA history to record a triple-double — notching 19 points, 13 assists and 12 rebounds in a stunning upset victory over the league-best New York Liberty.

After the game, NaLyssa Smith took to social media with a three-word message of support for Clark.

“HISTORYYY CAITY GIRL,” Smith wrote in response to the Fever’s post on X.

Smith’s response already has more than 3,000 likes and 250 reposts.

Smith played a big role in the Fever’s 83-78 win over the visiting Liberty on Saturday afternoon. The veteran forward supported Clark’s triple-double with a 12-point, 11-rebound double-double of her own.

Aliyah Boston also took to social media with a message of support for Clark.

“TRIPLE DOUBLEEEE as you should @CaitlinClark22 great fever dubbb,” Boston wrote on X.

Clark and the Fever will look to take this momentum into their next matchup against the Washington Mystics on Wednesday.
